Auckland Thursday Night Curry === Celebrating 23 Years - July 2002 - 2025 When and Where --- Date: Thursday 7 May 2026 Time: 7pm Venue: [[Punjabi Kitchen]], Wairau Valley, Auckland. Auckland Thursday Night Curry is held every 2nd Thursday. Restaurant changes each time, usually somewhere in central Auckland (eg Mt Eden, Parnell, Ponsonby). We return to our favourite locations often. Anyone is welcome to attend, especially if you agree to the AUP aka "rules". We usually get around 6 to a dozen each time. Most of the regulars work in IT, especially within internet network operations and bring their friends and/or partners along. Average price of each meal has been approx $26 recently, with a range of $25-$35. The first Auckland Thursday Night Curry was on 4 July 2002 at [[Shahi Cafe Herne Bay]], Auckland. There was no curry during (2,16,30) April and 14 May 2020.
