• What I liked about it: Delicious food, friendly service, not noisy. Calm and tranquility. Loved their apple crumble - reminded me of the ones that used to be served at Simple Cottage on High St (way back). The cakes and muffins are delicious too. Simon likes the bowls and pancakes there.

Dear Friends,

The Blue Bird Café has been looking to relocate for some time and we had planned for a relatively seamless transition. However, the café has sold before we have secured a new location and this means that we have to vacate our current premises now and our final day will be Friday June the 3rd, 2016.

If you wish to be updated when we relocate, kindly contact us and we will let you know when we are due to reopen.

Thank you so much for visiting us over the last 21½ years. We value you as customers and friends and will sincerely miss you during this interlude.
