Venue of Very first Auckland TNC on 4 July 2002. Spoke to manager of Parnell restaurant. He tells me the restaurant has just been refurbished and reopened early Nov 06. Suggested I try again to see if it was better than before.

• 16 Nov 2006 Visit
  • Lin: Usual 10% discount means the total bill of $309.60 was brought down to $262.45. We visited because reservation in parnell was moved to here as Parnell was full. Was assured by manager that we'd get good service etc. Service wasn't bad. However had a few comments from ppl that they didn't enjoy their curry. They also don't like the sort of naans served here.
  • Simon: Not too bad. The room is pretty small (we scared off at least 2 other groups) and upstairs while the kitchens are downstairs. We had no less than 3 people looking after our food which mean't service was pretty good. The actual curry was about average but proximity to Logos was a bonus
• 12 Feb 04 visit: Not visiting after this. Bad service due to only one person taking care of our table. other staff stayed downastairs. Room is also rather small. SO not suitable if curry group grows above 12 ppl. Well we could take up the entire room with 2 rows of tables but it means worse service.
