• Mr & Mrs Zhou were the original owners or the people who started New Flavour on Dominion Rd. They sold it in May 2013. They opened Mr Zhou's Dumplings in Gt Nth Rd, New Lynn in Feb 2014. NZ Herald in April 2017 mentions Mr Zhou is no longer at the New Lynn restaurant. On 5 June I spotted "Mr Zhou's Dumplings" sign on Mt Eden Rd. Stopped to take pics, found they were opening on 6 June.

• A food blog took pics and wrote about Mr Zhou's Dumpings in 2014 too. Can't find it. It was the photo of Mr Zhou that confirmed (to me) it was the original New Flavour owners. I can't find it now. I think it was Eat Here Now. Their website is down but I found the following facebook posts:
  • 13 February 2014 Just had lunch at Mr Zhou's Dumplings. Aside from its thoroughly excellent name and its awesome handmade signage, it also happens to be the new restaurant of the original owners of – get this – New Flavour. Same menu, possibly better food. Look out for our review tomorrow!
