Very nice indeed. They have refitted the interior. I believe the menu remains the same. Had a surperb Dal Tadka - good strong flavour unlike most other attempts at Dal. – Zach (13 July 2006)

Murgh Muglai with Mushrooms was quite tasty. No onion Bahji. Only mixed vegetable bahji. This was in round patties. Staff were quite attentive and friendly. Vege Bhaji and Chicken Tikka served on a bed of juliened red cabbage. very nice colour contrasts. According to those with Indian hot dishes, their Indian hot is hot enough! Shahi is the curry restaurant chain with heart foundation tick dishes. There's discount if booking done via time2dine. Lin - 13 July 2006

Same as lin. Mine was hot and had a very nice kick to it that didnt disappoint. Staff were attentive and helpful … Felt like something was missing though … oh yeah i should have got my naan not roti. RKD - 13 July 2006

As per normal the chicken vindaloo (Indian hot) was my dish of choice - and they didn't disappoint one bit - the nice thick dark brown sauce was a slow starting, long lasting pot of liquid fire that kept its flavor well. Mark - 13 July 2006

There was a bit of confusion of spicyness of curries but the actual food was okay. The waitress was also a bit new although the manager came around and made sure everything was okay and tidied up the mistakes. Overall probably not worth the extra cost of the area ( $28 including 10% discount) especially since there a few nearby coffee places and the only one we found was expensive and not very good. - Simon - Jan 2007
